Judge Jason Dunn is a God-fearing husband, father, and life-long resident of East Montgomery County with deep roots here. He graduated from New Caney High School where he participated in many sports and enjoyed a variety of the great outdoor activities available in this part of the county. After obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice at Sam Houston State University, Judge Dunn and his wife, Brandi, knew they wanted to continue to make this community their home.
Judge Dunn began his career with the Houston Police Department in 1997, and served in multiple divisions. The majority of his career was spent in an undercover capacity for the Narcotics Division working to keep dangerous and illegal drugs off the streets. He also worked in partnership with the DEA and FBI through task forces aimed and reducing the flow of illegal narcotics into the community. In December of 2018, Judge Dunn retired from the Houston Police Department to devote more time to East Montgomery County and to spend more time with his wife and two children.
He has served on the Splendora ISD, Board of Trustees, volunteered as a coach and mentor in FFA programs, and has welcomed the opportunity to instill positive values and a strong work ethic in the youth of our community.
Judge Dunn is committed to the future of this great area, and committed to the citizens who also call this place “home.”
